Exodus 3:13-15: Old Test.
   13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?"
    14 God said to Moses, (YHWH) "I am who I am . This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I Am has sent me to you.' " ...  
     15 ... This is my name for ever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation.

"YHWH", the Tetragrammaton, "four letters", used 6800 times in the Hebrew text of the Old Testament! "I am who I am" is the translation of the Hebrew into English of the name of God... it is the essence of God, the one that always is, eternal, immutable... the Lord, the Almighty One, the Creator, the Savior...  This is my name for ever, the name by which I am to be remembered from generation to generation (Ex.3:15) 

Where does Yeshua come in? 

  • I AM: Jesus upset his generation especially when He said, "Before Abraham was, "I AM," John 8:58 The Jews understood that this meant Jesus was stating himself equal with God.

        Yeshua is the  last "I AM"  He will NEVER be "I was", but  is eternally  "I AM"...
