Issue: Is there any physical evidence to verify the Bible?
answer: YES
"The Bible is in better textual shape than the 37 plays of William Shakespeare which were written a mere 300 years ago, after the invention of the printing press!"---(SOURCE:http://www.biblestudymanuals.net/quran7.htm )

The Dead Sea Scrolls contain a copy of the book of Isaiah compared to the next available copies of the manuscript from the 9th century, about 900 A.D., which were found first. Despite a nearly 1,000 year difference examination of the text proved Isaiah had been faithfully preserved 99% same text in both documents. The oldest known copies of the Old Test. Are from the 900 A.D. time frame; this text was meticulously preserved by the Jewish scribes who copied the Hebrew text with incredible care. Over about 1,000 years it is complete, un-changed, and available for us in its original form to the present day—a fact confirmed by comparing translations of Latin and Greek manuscripts to ancient Hebrew copies.
As for the New Testament, Author and Archaeologist Frederick Kenyon, stated, “The number of manuscripts of the New Testament, of early translations from it, and of quotations from it…is so large that it is practically certain the true reading of every passage is preserved in some one or other of these ancient authorities….this can be said of no other ancient book in the world.”
Regarding the reliability of the Bible: Statistically the New Testament is 99.5% textually pure; there are around 6,000 copies of the New Testament in Greek and of the 1/2% differences found in texts all are spelling related or minor word alterations NONE OF WHICH changes the meaning of any verse.
As you can see by the following examples the Bible IS A RELIABLE source of Historical reference. Thus far there is not a {single }archaological find that disproves the Bible in any way. Although Archaeology cannot prove the Bible as the inspired Word of God it can and does verify that the Bible is accurate and truthful in regard to Historical evidences.

5. " A decree of Claudius found at Delphi (Greece) describes Gallio as proconsul of Achaia in ad 51, thus giving a correlation with the ministry of Paul in Corinth (Acts 18:12)." (The New Bible Dictionary) ----- A. Acts 18:12, "But while Gallio was proconsul of Achaia, the Jews with one accord rose up against Paul and brought him before the judgment seat."
6. Excavations have revealed a text naming a benefactor Erastus which may be a reference relating to the city-treasurer of Rom. 16:23. (The New Bible Dictionary) A. At Ephesus parts of the temple of Artemis have been uncovered as is mentioned in Acts 19:28-41. (The New Bible Dictionary) A. Acts 19:28, "And when they heard this and were filled with rage, they began crying out, saying, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians." 8. "It is known that Quirinius was made governor of Syria by Augustus in AD Archaeologist Sir William Ramsay discovered several inscriptions that indicated that Quirinius was governor of Syria on two occasions, the first time several years prior to this date...archaeology has provided some unexpected and supportive answers. Additionally, while supplying the background behind these events, archaeology also assists us in establishing several facts. (1) A taxation-census was a fairly common procedure in the Roman Empire and it did occur in Judea, in particular. (2) Persons were required to return to their home city in order to fulfill the requirements of the process. (3) These procedures were apparently employed during the reign of Augustus (37 BC–AD 14), placing it well within the general time frame of Jesus’ birth." QUOTE: "The evidence for inerrancy is that NO ERROR has ever been proven in the Bible This is another state of affairs that can virtually be considered a miracle. As far as we know, no ancient text of this length and detail is without error. Indeed books like Zephaniah, Obadiah and Nahum that are over 70% predictive could not be entirely correct apart from an omniscient God who knows the future. All it takes is one undeniably false prophecy, and inerrancy is undermined. But many scholars have critically investigated the Biblical text and still declared that the Bible is inerrant."---Dr. John Warwick Montgomery
Regarding Truth: Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12
